Here is a picture of Melanie and I at Meet the Teacher night! It is so special being apart of the Urban Teacher Residency Partnership Program and being respected by the staff and students as teachers. Meet the Teacher night was very special to me because I get a little insight about my students. Only a few of my students came to 123 Elementary and were new to our little school. It was nice to get to know their previous school locations and experiences. After meeting my new students I went down to third grade to say hello to my students from last year. I was very touched by one of my student's from last years mother. His mother approached me and thanked me for my patience, well thought lessons and said that me and my second grade mentor teacher made a positive difference in her son's life. This made my heart melt and set the tone for my fifth grade final internship. I am a teacher and I am here to teach, care, and make a positive difference in my student's lives!
Welcome to my teaching blog! This is my personal space where I reflect on my lessons, classroom data, and my classes at USF. Feel free to leave comments to help me become an exemplary teacher!
